Just received a text from this number that began 'Morning Mum...' (I'm not a Mum!) and the text said that they are calling from a friends phone and their battery is about to expire so please call them back. This was a call from the Halifax Bank, I have recently made an appointment to discuss an issue regarding one of their services.
I received a message saying I owe £2.99 to Royal Mail and to enter my bank details because my card had declined, but I had more in my account - plus, everything I'd ordered, I'd already been charged for.
SCAM unknown, when answered the phone it was immediatly put down.
