SCAM Recorded message announcing that the call is coming from BT because of suspicious activity on my broadband connection. Invites me to ‘press one‘ to be connected to a member of our executive otherwise the line to be cut off.I don’t have any accounts with BT. I can imagine that somebody with a BT account might be alarmed by the call which is a scam and probably malicious
I answered this call as it is my local dialling code, it was a man asking if I had been on an all inclusive holiday in the last twelve months, I asked why he was asking me this ...

These morons called my work number with an automated message telling me to call them back. The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. Keep getting calls from this number and when you answer there is noone on there, we had about 10 in 1 day.

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

now that i have seen the address and the location of the address, i believe this could be an agent for a charity that provides work for the blind. they then sell the products they make and pack via calls and delivery(very good stuff!)so i think it is legit. further i dont think they engage in cold calls only to people who have dealt with them before.
