Fifth time they have phoned me. Today, I decided to play with them and told them that indeed I had been in an accident. Made up a load of details and then after around 30mins told them I had been playing with them and I hope I had wasted their time like they have wasted mine over the last few weeks. Called a couple of times, but cut off when I picked up. I think it is a spoofed ID as the first 5 digits are a local number but the next two appear ficticious.

Cold call from telemarketing company based in Manchester claiming to be 02 Partner. Told to fxxk xff and not call me again. Also blocked number on phone but my call logs showed they continued to ring me. Pig stupid or what.

Yorkshire accent, Exeter number. Claimed they were calling on behalf of the Association of British Insurers. When pressed, admitted it was actually the "Motor Advice Bureau". Pressed further, he admitted it was a personal injury (or as he put it, "personal welfare") claims referral. This number called me today saying that they had been passed my information after a car accident. Once I had indicated that this was false, they hung up.

Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

Short message left on my phone saying a purchase has been made using my (unspecified) card. Then the usual scam shite - press 1 for this or 2 for that. Just another con.

Have had repeated calls from this number over the last week or so, when answered there is only silence, no response.

These days it is well worth having caller display on a land line - mobiles have it anyway. So for all these callers, 0845-, unavailable, withheld, etc., just lift the receiver and drop it back immediately, or, on a mobile, answer the call and immediately shut it down. This stops answerphone message.

This number keeps ringing but as soon as I answer, nobody speaks. After a few seconds they hang up! So frustrating!!

Definitely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION to a caller. NEVER RETURN A CALL and NEVER ...
