I did my usual barrage of EXPLETIVES 'you know what i mean' and they hung up. Don't be fooled by these scam artists. AMAZON WOULD NEVER PHONE YOU WITH ANY PROBLEM WITH YOUR ACCOUNT.

supposedly from my bank with suspicious activity - £300 odd from Amazon and £1100 odd from an overseas money transaction. Usual press 1 to agree or 2 to talk to agent. When 'agent' was asked who they were from just said the call was sent through to them and hung up.....need I say more...... potentially phishing

4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. I strung them along. "Glad you called, I went through all the details with your colleagues weeks ago. They said I was due £8k in compensation'. 'Sir this is the 1st time I've called you.' SCAM - Call to my landline at 9.53 today. It was a pre-recorded message saying they were querying a suspicious Debit Card payment of £600 sent abroad. They did not say what bank or give any other details. I was asked to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to confirm. I hung up.

Automated message that went to voicemail, American female accent pretending to be Visa. Said something about a £300 payment to Amazon and another larger one £1500? to overseas. Wanted the receiver to press certain numbers on the handset to confirm etc;

Silent call (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile (using another number: 07727214429) asking when I was going to visit her. Looks like a scam to me. SCAM

Scam. Female voice robotic recording threatening jail for customs & tax avoidance. Press 1 or press 2. Hung up. An hour later received same recording from number with similar digit pattern (07166 instead of 0766). Hung up and blocked both.

Recorded message, allegedly from my bank (unnamed), reporting suspicious transactions and asking me to press numbers. My bank confirmed that the alleged transactions had not been made.

They texted my mum faking to be one of her children, asking to delete the old number and to text back if she's "received this text". Just a scam. The spelling and grammar was off. The text went from informal to formal. Don't reply back.

SCAM Wanted to make payment from a visa card for gambling payment that did not exist beware.

Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.
