Scam - offered to come and do free security check and install cameras to elderly resident, he didnt sign anything, they took his information and charged him for the free consultation, and installation of 8 camera (non installed or agreed too). SCAM - claimed from O2 wanting to give me a 50% discount - and wanted me to read out a verification number from O2 security centre - the SMS msg with the verification number said do dot give to third parties including O2 staff - so its a scam and I am blocking
01482 293843 called me several times. I called back and got an automated message saying welcome to Vodafone all of our operators are busy right now please hold blah blah blah... I hung up. My broadband contract has just ended with Vodafone and I already renewed it with them on a social tariff. Maybe the call was connected to that. I saved the number to contacts so the name will come up if they call again and I'll answer it to find out. Like many I don't answer withheld numbers or numbers I don't recognise.

I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country.
