saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Automated message - asking about a car accident I'd been in... I don't own a car. *slow clap* Tempted to actually follow through with the call and lead them on until I get the opportunity to state my injuries as "fatal" - and that I should sue for manslaughter.
Claims to be amazon prime. Asks to hold to speak to a manager as the cost of prime is going to increase.
Fraud - says send 'abort' to cancel - should be 'stop'. Other options look wrong......

This is a market research company called GSKNOP. I had daily hang up calls from them then eventually spoke to a human who wanted to do a 20 min financial questionnaire but gave me the Market Research Society phone number so I said if they didn t take my name/number off their data base that I d report them to the MRS. I haven t heard from them since.

Just received a call. When I answered, a beeped sounded, an automatic voice said "goodbye" and the connection ended. I called back straightaway and a woman, struggling to speak English, answered, telling me she was from HMRC. She asked me to verify who I was. I replied "you called me, you should know who I am". SCAM! Calling from a mobile number + automatic bot is set up, not a real person. Pretending to be from National Insurance Security, saying your NIN been compromised and threatening legal action if you don't contact them with your details right away. This is a FRAUD, beware! They called me on a new number that I got a few weeks ago and never shared with anyone, this is obviously a randomly generated call.

Called asking if I had life insurance and wanted to discuss some changes to regulations. They wanted me to tell them is I had life insurance now or in the past...which I obviously didn t divulge, then hung up! The caller had a very strong eastern European accent and was very difficult to understand.
