I received an automated call from this number 01634256271 at 12.43 on 20.01.23. The message reported two large purchases made on my account. It asked me to press 1 to stop them (which I did not do). I hung up. They haven't called back - yet. This is almost certainly a scam/con business and should be closed down.

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. SCAM Second call in as many minutes all from Blackburn area telephone numbers. Supposedly from our Bank- 2 transactions this morning - one from Amazon for £300 and another for £1100 for International Money transfer - suspicious- if you didn’t authorise these press 1 to speak to someone- didn’t- now blocked.

Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.

I want to clarify that I had just given him the 5 minute postcode and he should have come to see the car in about 5 hours when I was free.

SCAM It's a scam, they have your email and name from some kind of attack and they say you have cryptocurrency. And if you recall that. I never had. They say the name of the company is blockchain database but that it doesn't have a website. When I said all of this sounded very suspicious (and they even asked me why) the reply I got was 'Damn!" and they hang up.

Phone call from 01322553350 alternated call saying someone using my card one for 300.00 and another for 1,000 will I allow this transaction to go through press ….. then I hung up. Scam beware…

This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.
