Foreign accent stating my bank account had suspicious transactions. £300 on Amazon and over £1000 money transfer. Invited me to press buttons to either accept or speak to customer services. I held on and then a voice said bye! Dangerous as the number display comes up with a Ballymena number and this is my home area. Checked online bank and no such transactions had occurred.

Automated voice said something about my Amazon prime account. As I don’t even have an Amazon account I believe this is a scam and have blocked the number.

They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. I received an unsolicited call today from this number. The caller hung up as soon as I answered. I did a quick search of the number and found several scam alerts. Be aware and don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!
