Left a message saying that there had been suspicious activity on our Amazon account, and to "press 1" to talk to the manager. We don't have an Amazon account!!
07834756958 A Person calls up and says I think you have my phone. (Strange as I've had this number for over 10yrs.) Told him I think you got a wrong number. Then get a text saying sorry to bother you I got a few numbers the wrong way around. Possibly someone doing research to see if the number is active to put it on scam site. This phone number phoned me today i answered an it was an automated voice with no mention of who they are calling from not even a name of a bank, telling me that my card was used early this morning that large amounts of money taken from my account, £400 on ebay and £700 on paypal as they know i not used those amounts before an gave me the options, 1 to accept the amount that it was me, 2 it wasnt me and i forgot the 3rd option as i hung up an checked my bank account an nothing was pending

Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.

I told them they would be flagged as a scammed, after which all the scam calls have stopped. Think very carefully before giving any useful details to these people. I would not trust them. At the very least they have proved to have no respect for data protection they either bought my phone number from a dodgy company or they are the dodgy company.

Thanks for your support. It is the second time I received this message on my mobile to confirm my appointment. I will be phoning Homerton Hospital on the 9th of January 2023 referring to this and other things.
