I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!
i was deceived by an online scammer and i lost all my funds on my cash app but i was lucky to come across a recovery expert by the mail zattrecoverypro1 @ gmail com and i was able to recover all my lost funds all thanks to him and his team. if you have similar issues you can contact him and thank me later stay blessed

I had the same problem ordering from a company called Flawless Cosmetics with this number, they state they are a UK company where in fact they are a drop ship company from China. Do no order anything from this company as it will either take over 2 months to deliver your item or it will not turn up at all. I have tried contacting the company and they completely ignore every message I leave them. WARNING do not use this company. I highly doubt thier products pass any of the UK standards.

Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)

This number should be marked DANGEROUS. It is a man replying to adverts on Internet and advertising "rent for sex" scam targeting vulnerable young women. Do NOT engage with this man.

Scam. The line was so bad I couldn't even make out who they were pretending to be.
Getting so fed up with calls from this number, and others including what appear as mobiles, telling me that my "home appliance insurance" with them has expired, or is about to expire, and asking for my bank details so that it can be renewed. Very strange that the company insuring me (they're not, of course) has no idea what appliances I have. Calls coming 2-4 times each day.

This number keep texting me several times a day offering loans to buy a car. Its a scam.

By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. There seems to be no neg on this number but it’s been looked up 10x It rang for the obligatory seconds associated with loop numbers when hopefully the caller wants me to pick up As I am not expecting any landline from London number I didn’t answer as I’m a bit suspicious I am more and more vigilant If it was genuine they will call back or better still email Stay safe out there!

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.
