You may be a customer without knowing. I m going to buck the trend here... yes it s D&G, and they had a valid reason to call me. I m sure they probably cold-call too but for me I am a customer already.. and many of you may be too without knowing. Bad line and almost unintelligible guy at the other end. Took me 3 goes before I heard the words PPI, then told him I was at work and I hung up. The guy didn t even seem to know what he was saying when I asked what he was calling for. Script based nuisances.

Called as it s a local number to me (Amesbury) I picked up as could have been a trustworthy number. No sound after repeatedly answering "Hello??" after 10 secs heard garbled nonsense and the line went dead. Tried calling back had 20 secs of silence and no ring tone.

Call to my rarely used mobile about my recent accident - I answered that I did not have any recent accident. Caller did give a company name but too fast to recall it. Obviously prospecting for accident claims insurers and completely bogus.
