Robotic voice supposedly from HMRC threatening legal action due to non payment of taxes. SCAM/FRAUD

01243514389 and 01874612588 scam call supposed to be from my bank telling me that there has been unauthorized transactions on my bank card.

Be aware of this number. It's scam , fraud , and dangerous. If you received a phone call or a text message do not reply. Block and report them.

Fraud A well spoken man allegedly called "John" saying he understood I was the the homeowner which I declined to answer and started banging on about solar panels. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. Like many other reports I am TPS registered, so if a genuine company they are breaking the law. If a scam, as I suspect it is, of course also illegal. Such lazy scammers - they use the same numbers each time. Basically if you receive a call from a Bolton code eg 01204 and you don;t live in Bolton or know someone who lives in Bolton, just ignore and block. It will just be these lazy evil scammers. Sometimes they claim to be TalkTalk, another time they claim to be 'National Debt Resolution'. They are totally useless - they are even rude the moment you answer, and can't even manage to sound even briefly plausible or professional. Evil fools - the worst.

I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.
