I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon". He said our property was on their database as having old fashioned loft insulation. I immediately interrupted him to tell him he was wrong, we have modern insulation and that we don't want it up to the rafters as the loft is boarded and used for storage. I've have several calls from this number over the last couple of days on my ex-directory lamdline - haven't asked for them to call and haven't answered them.
They call me to tell me I won a family holiday and they asked if I own my home and if I am between 30-60 years old, and then they asked if our annual income is over £30,000 and when I said no she said that I do not qualify.
Caller rang, but hung up after a brief ring. I am presuming it s a scammer hoping I will call back.
