This number calls me everyday at varied times, and has done so for several months. Occasionally, I answer, always with the intention of asking them to stop calling me, but there is only silence at the other end of the line for a few seconds before they terminate the call. Very sinister and extremely irritating. What can I do to stop this?

He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. These call Are becoming more and more frequent and even though I have asked to be removed from their database I still Get them I even got a call 10 mins after I had been quite rude to the man on the previous call ! It is a number for Waste Managed Ltd. They used to be Cheaperwaste Ltd. Terrible waste brokers in Newcastle. One to avoid so don't let them have your bank account number, or let them start a contract for you. There is a Facebook group, Cheaperwaste Waste Managed Unhappy Customers which reports terrible things.

Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.
It rings once and stops. Its designed for the user to call back and its a premium rate number. I think its ee. I get called every day by this. I m out of contract and o2 is starting to look better every day. Like a previous comment states DO NOT CALL BACK.

I m being inundated with nuisance calls, mainly international or weird numbers. Most hang up if you can t get to the phone within second. My trick, grab the phone, put it by radio or tv, you note they don t hang up then. THEN TURN THE VOL UP. If it deafens them hard luck!!
