Scam ? saying about tax fraud asked you to press 1 and puts you on hold
Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

Thanks to you guys have avoided this call. Just bought new oven and hob from Boots and they have already rung 3 times!!! They are now blocked!! If I want insurance I will ask for it. Simples!!

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. Automated message apparently from HMRC saying that a fraud investigation had been opened relating to me. If I did not choose option 1 a warrant would be issued. Sounds like a scam to me.

SCAM Claimed to be from BT and asked. Indian gentleman telling me that my internet line was not performing and asked me to read the numbers from the hub. Told him that I did not think that he was from BT and he persisted and asked again. Rang off when I asked him if he thought that I was idiot.
