Claimed they were calling from my bank but never told me which bank. Their claim was my account had been scammed with two transactions for large amounts over £1000,00 and they needed to authorise the payments.

SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. Obvious fraud. They claim to be from o2, wanting to save you money. They actually use o2s own "forgotten password" link do send you a message directly from o2, with a code that they can use to access your account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THIS CODE!

just called by this number. A robot call, falsely claiming my (credit card?) account has been charged twice and asking me to call another number. I immediately hung up and checked my account. No such sums had been taken. The large number of calls made from this number appears to confirm a scam attempt.

i have had a number of calls from this number which is from Zimbabwe, got to be a scammer

This number rang with an automated message saying it was the bank and there had been unusual activity on the account with two large transactions!

This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.
