SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Caller said they were from O2 said I had applied for a free Sim card on line. I haven t, told her she was not from O2 and to remove me from the mailing list they had obviously bought from somewhere. Sick of these nuisance calls. Number is now blocked.

SCAM calling trying to be Carphone warehouse. I know this was going to be a fraud a guy with indian accent called before. They keep changing landline numbers and I keep blocking them I have told the guy on the phone not interested. Repeating this to him multiple times hes not taken this in then I wen into repeat mode and kept repeating not interested all the time and the guy keeps trying to talk over me phone company will never do that to customer.

They are based in Hartelpool - Had a call saying they had been passed my file about a car accident I had 3 years ago- Whilst my car was hit by someone I wasnt in it so cant claim injury compo. Ive been plagued by loads of these calls they keep saying we will take you name of the list - yeah right
A woman with an Indian accent who called herself Alysha-Trottman stole money from my account promising a loan that never materialised. Today a man who claimed Alysha-Trottman passed my loan application to him asked me to send £200 through money gram into their account upfront in order to get my loan. When I refused, he then showed his true colour by threatening to withdraw every penny in my account as he now has all my bank details. He said he s a scammers and laughed then hung up !

At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.

This is Kinex. They ignore ALL requests not to call. When their number is blocked they will call from a different number. Report them to the ICO - it takes 1 minute - as they are breaking GDPR regulations. Their MD is Chris Earle from Verastar. They need a massive fine or to be put out of business.
