Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438667xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

SPAM CALL - DONT ANSWER and hopefully they'll give up. They are calling me 5 times a day - absolutely unbelievable. I think its a SCAM call where they get paid every time you answer !!! So I have stopped answering the number in the hope they'll eventually

Same experience as others, I was called on my Australian mobile and asked for by name. I asked who was calling and the male caller said "It's Elliot" and then hung up. Called the number back and it's an Avaya voicemail, extn 481 not available.

This was a local scammer from Shildon, County Durham dialing other local numbers and trying their luck with the opening line of "Hello, I'm ringing about the accident you had two years ago..." even though no one in our household has had any form

nothing but a scam, sometimes someone answers but only to keep you on as long as possible. sometimes instant hangup, tricking you to call back. dont not answer or you will be charged money from their service

Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?

SCAM - This number is part of a scam pretending to be from the 'Carphone Warehouse Company. They were offering me a new contract deal for an iPhone 12 Pro. The number that originally phoned me was 07717521152, however this number attempted to phone me after there was a bad connection on the original line.
