SCAM - Claimed to be from Amazon offering to arrange a refund for an order if I provided details. I pointed out that I could cancel through my account. They said they would not refund me without the details. I ended the call and checked my account which showed no activity

They took me for 3K and said they will tell my wife if I called them again. Complete scam do not pay them or call them they will promise you work but nothing happens, just keep cancelling and asking for more money which was willing to give but stopped believing them. It is a number for Waste Managed Ltd. They used to be Cheaperwaste Ltd. Terrible waste brokers in Newcastle. One to avoid so don't let them have your bank account number, or let them start a contract for you. There is a Facebook group, Cheaperwaste Waste Managed Unhappy Customers which reports terrible things.

Odd looking number. Phoned me Saturday morning on my landline, before 9 am. London area code. Didn t leave a message. I am ex directory, and also with TPS.
This number was a representative from a Greenpeace call agency. I checked with Greenpeace to validate this call and they confirmed it. They were asking for a direct debit payment after acquiring my number from a petition I signed. The service was friendly and informative and not malicious unless you don't like charity pressure calling.
