Receiving these calls everyday and I m getting pretty hacked off! Pressed 9 on many occasions to opt out, still phoning me so press 2 to speak to someone so many times and told will be removed. Still waiting and in meantime still getting phonecalls. On TPS which is very annoying

Today someone rang from "Department of Claims", about a premium bank account and was asking for personal information that could be used for identity fraud. Avoid!!

Used in a phishing scam posing as HSBC.

Several missed calls from this number over the last few weeks. Today I answered the call. About endowment. Said that they had got my name from a list ! I asked them to remove my name and not to call me again!

Pre recorded message re missold payment protection insurance. Standard woffle saying I could get up to £4000 in compensation. Press 2 to speak to an adviser, or alternatively save yourself money and put the phone down. The majority of people could deal with the banks etc themselves thus saving themselves the fees that these claim companies would charge.

Had this a couple of times recently, I think the indian sounding woman mentioned BBC but I always say "no thank you, goodbye" very quicky and hang up. Will try and bl...

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on. Very rude common woman (bad election lessons) evaded my requests to come to the point. Then, when I had refused to give straight answers to personal questions, turned abusive having realised I had her number (sorry for the bad joke!). Do not take calls from this number, and if you do, keep making refusals - they won t be playing fair with you.

Scammed my 76 year old dad. He paid ?150 for a piece of worthless plastic junk that does not work. Why arn t the goverment doing more to protect people from these nusiance callers. And guess what they won t give a refund.

I don`t care who they are - this is a private line so go away - I have not answered a landline call for 5 years now and NEVER leave my mobile number with shops or businesses for ANY reason - email is good enough.
