I got this call in response to a request i made for a large transfer of money They were confirming in order to be able to release the funds
He is threatening people from who he stole the money
not a cold call, - just a business - I filled an application form out for PPI, was just a follow up call, gentleman on the other was very polite and informative. seems genuine.
Recorded message claiming that my order from Amazon had been processed and that several hundred pounds had been charged to my card. Also claimed that if I had not made the order to press 1 to speak to customer services. Obviousl a scam so I hung up. DO NOT PRESS 1.

Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Pretending to be TPS (Tenant Protection Scheme) saying about receiving a full payout. when quizzed on simple information they would have (like a name for the landlord) hung up. Scam, avoid!
The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.
