Gentleman sounded like he was in a call centre. Have had a few phone calls from this person saying he was with EON Energy and my business contract was due for renewal (I work in a pub). I told him I wasn't authorised to make these decisions on behalf of the company and therefore could do nothing. However I asked him for a number to call once I had spoken to the owners and he gave me this one. These guys called me today and advised they could offer me 5k and transfer in 30 mins. All i had to do was get a guarantor or set up a ppi on the loan to cover the 3 year duration of it. I told them i didn't have money to pay up front for anything like this hense the loan application. They soon reduced this to 2 years cover up front if £90. When i said i still couldnt cover this, they offered up put £200 in my account so they would cover the fees for me... all i had to do was buy a prepaid card from steam.

I received several calls from a company called UK Energy Council Utility working on behalf of National Grid. They said that I was basically being overcharged by my current suppliers and asked me for my bill to obtain the supply number. They were very inquisitive seeking information that should have been known. I did not provide the information as they appeared dodgy. I was then told that I should continue to be ripped of by my current suppliers.
