'computerised voice' claimed to be from HMRC advising I was being investigated as part of an HRMC Fraud investigation and if I didnt 'press 1' to speak to one of their investigating team a warrant would be issued for my arrest shortly. Total scam !!

This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!

Utter nuisance. Some nonsense about phone lines in my area despite Leeds being nowhere near me. Rang me twice in one day despite being dressed down the first time so they re thick-skinned, I ll give them that. Blocked the number now and suggest you do the same.

SCAM- said I had been in a road traffic accident when I asked where they had got my details from they asked me to wait and someone else came on the phone. They told me the same. I asked where they had got this information from and they asked my why I needed to know. They refused to tell me and when I asked what details they held about me they put the phone down. Cold calling/scam!

Heavily accented guy called claiming to be from First Nation bank with regard to PPI claim to the value of ?3000. SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.

Received a text on my mobile saying that my Paypal account has been blocked. There was a link to follow to unblock it. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK. Check up with Paypal on another device, through normal channels. I did this on my laptop and it was not sent by them. THIS IS A SCAM DO NOT RESPOND.
