Recorded message, woman's voice claiming to be from my 'bank security' (name of bank not specified), advising that 2 payments had been made against my card, to Amazon and an overseas transfer. An obvious criminal scam. Number now blocked and reported to ICO.
Caller was automated voice claiming to be bank security. I ended the call immediately. I consider this call to be a dangerous criminal scamming attempt and rate it as zero trust level
Cold called from this number 04-07-22, didn't answer - never do if unrecognised.
Answered the phone, the person on the other end could barely speak English. Hung up, blocked and coincidentally immediately received a call from an 0203 number which I didn’t answer and blocked.

Received sms pretending to be from my son saying his phone is broken & he is using his friend’s phone to contact me but that one is about to die. Gave me another number to use to contact him. I’ve spoken with my son & this is a false message.

This shows an one-time password for a transaction of around £983 and asks me to urgently call this number (03309124638) if I do not recognise this transaction. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM! I have called HSBC (on their true number and not the fake number mentioned above) and they have confirmed what was obvious to me: THIS IS A SCAM. Your account is safe and has not been compromised. I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.
