The last few days (yes over the holidays!) I got frequent calls from this number. I found this to be very disturbing. If you answer, no one is off and recall all you hear is music.

Let's change the subject as this is a serious waste of time!

Claims to be from my internet providor so I said I used only phone or library for Internet use and he hung up. Then called back from an unavoidable number saying ...I m from BT and....blah blah....I said no internet here and he hung up...

I assume it was the boiler scammers again. Am with TPS. Waste of time. Don t answer the phone now, but it s a worry - what if it s a genuine emergency call? Oops here s another ...

Having done a little digging on hardy evans ltd, it looks like they sell insurances ie life cover etc. But the 5 calls aday are pushing me over the edge!!!!

Have had repeated calls from this number over the last week or so, when answered there is only silence, no response.

Called and the typical robot lady spoke before handing me to her supervisor - claims handlers looking for accidents and personal loss.

These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end. they called me, a sweet lady stated that my loan had been approved and took my bank and card details. They took out 50 gbp out of my bank and did not inform me as well. From the voice i could make out that she was an Asian. They have not refunded my money and never answer the call.

Definitely a scam. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufacturer's ...

PPI Claims number - Asked them to remove my mobile number from thier systems, they asked me for my postcode! No way would I give them that so blocked them on my phone.

Called asking me to confirm I d been in an accident. I said yes (I hadnt however) and asked who had informed them. I was transfered to a supervisor who then asked me where it happened and when. I repeated my question and they hung up
