Received call at 20:38 he did not give his name just said he was from Lloyds Bank regarding a recent enquiry I made, I don’t even Bank with Lloyds anymore. He went on to ask can I spare him sometime? I told him no and this sounded like a scam to me then ended the call One other point he did not sound very professional

Caller claimed they were calling because my Beko washing machine warranty had expired. I don t have a Beko washing machine. I gave this incorrect information to a unwanted cold call last week (Indian caller, UK Preference, claiming they were doing a survey). They have obviously passed my details to this company.
What do you mean? Can you not just delete the number from your calls list? A Google search indicates that the number, if genuine, belongs to a removals and storage company based...

Cold called got my name wrong did no checks and started talking about international banking right away without even giving full company name. Absolutely a scam.

Got a couple of calls selling warranty First call said I had a Bosh washing machine, I said I was busy. The next day another call saying I had a Samsung. They tried to convince me of their glowing credentials, that they ve been operating for 10years. Got transfered to a manager which I asked again if I could check on Companies House website for Applianceserve Ltd Company number 08957597 and they promptly hung up on me. This person named copeland called re: bing verification of business listing I said I was already verified but had a duplicate listing, any how this person was rude, overbearing and aggressive, and refused to listen to any thing I said saying (he was going to hang up as he didnt like how i spoke to him) imagine that, I have the call recorded and saved on file.
