Calling a few times a day often silent on the other end once was asked about an motor accident I had earlier that week... I dont drive so clearly not legitimate, blocked the number

I have had three calls from fictitious numbers being used by these criminals in one day. They are easily identified by crackling noises and indistinct speech. I said nothing. They quickly rang off. If I had let them they would have tried to get access to my computer.

caller wanted to confirm my post code and quoted my old postcode. I said "if you work for BT, you d know my correct postcode" She said she would check and call back, then hung up.

speech is silver, silence is gold... or so they say... in this case the silence is most annoying and once in a while the speech, if there s any, is automated and urging me to call a number with the prefix 0333 which is a pakistani mobile... anything left to say?

Athough called approx 3or 4 pr day for about 2 weeks now, they still ring. No idea who they are, so annoyed they continue to attempt to call. I did try to call the number to find out who it was, but received the message that the number had been blocked. my daughter answered this call ..She was told she d had a loan in 2007, and repaid it in 2011. (I don t know how she would have got a loan for £3000 at the age of 11, but obviously this company has better records than us. ) When she continued to talk over the caller, telling him to take us off his list, he told her to go forth and multiply and hung up....proof of a scam
