Asian man calling himself Alex and offering free roof insulation survey. I knew right away this was a scam so I wound him up with a false address and conflicting postcode which he had to keep on checking and managed to waste 30 minutes of his time. THESE ARE CRIMINALS

They claim to be an energy company trying to frighten you regarding loft insulation. Said he was my energy representative for my area postcode. I asked who he worked for, and after a pause long enough for it to be clear he wasn't going to answer, he continued with his script. I stopped him and asked again what company he was calling from. He then hung up! Clearly a poorly thought-out scam call!

SCAM - Tried claiming they were Lloyds Banking and that there was suspicious activity saying large amounts of money was attempted to be charged to my account.
Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. Indications on other sites are that this is Opus credit (aka New Day) and it makes sense since I have an account with them and I missed a payment with them yesterday.
This call is from Markets.com a trading broker firm who offer a charting and trading platform.

The ombudsman have no reason to be directly looking at my bank account without the bank ever contacting me. Strange behaviour. Wanted me to spell my details back to him as if data gathering.
The man with an Indian accent claimed that he is from Virgin media but asked if I'm with Virgin. When confronted being a scammer, hanged up.
