Rang me, left a message saying I was facing legal action. I was then told, on ringing back that I needed my debit/credit card as I had overpaid my taxes to HMRC. When asked how I had overpaid, they tried to hustel me into giving my card number.

Number unknown to me went dead when I answered

10 to 15 calls a week. 99% are automated calls. we were lucky to get hold of an actual human being. unfortunately those humans are as automated as their mechanical colleagues. they unable to comprehend even the simplest syntax like: do not call me again!!!!!!!!!!

They said they were from Virgin media and my internet had been hacked but sent me links on my mobile and the word Vergin is spelt incorrectly so I ended the call.

aggressive and harrassing calls, i hung up on them the first time as i was at work, and they rang my mobile 7 times consecutively thereafter.

Probably a scammer used a spoofed but valid UK number.

I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. He asked for a UKASH voucher for ?100, (this voucher is as he told me was to show that we are able to repay the loan and I would get it back with the money into my account) which I did and gave them the voucher number. Like others have said, AO.com trying to sell extra coverage for the appliance. I d seen here that s what they were doing but answered in the end as I was worried they might not deliver it if I didn t, since people had said they asked delivery details.
