UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. If you see this number, it s an IP phone POP (point of presence) for an Indian based call centre (might have misspelled that...I think there s a c in con artists....?) that has several web portals (see below), all purporting to be international or regional employment agencies. Problem is, a check of local business registries and businesses operating at the addresses they claim on their websites reveal are no such businesses in operation at those addresses. Surprise. I got a phone call from AMS about the car accident that I had in the last year and a half. When I asked when exactly this accident was supposed to have taken place they couldn't tell me. I asked where they were calling from and I was told Glasgow. I said to the person that they didn't sound Scottish to me and they hung up! They are a total scam company.
