Had loads of these calls. After they speak, just tell them you are recording this call and will be charging them £10 per minute. They will soon F**K OFF.

He tries to arrange an energy assessment on my house (which no doubt will result in a sales pitch for loft insulation etc). Mike Reed gave me a 32 digit number which he claimed was a Microsoft licence number for all our computers on our network. A call with an automated message about a case being filed against me by HMRC. I have barred the tel. no. (01618 506868) as a scam. Be aware that if you call back, someone might answer as if HMRC. The foreign gent sounded unsure of himself when I queried his being with HMRC, so I laughed and said "I don t think so!"and hung up.

Asked for "business owner" and slammed the phone down when I asked who he was.

Just been called by this number. Very unprofessional asking if I have life insurance with Aviva or Legal and Genreal. Claimed to be from Aviva, but couldn t tell me why he was asking. Hung up on him.
