She proceeded to call me Mr William (my first name) and said they had done a search on me and found that I had been scammed (untrue) (my new isp did a search on me last week and found no trace of me online) She asked me to tell her what happened. Call stating from 'a bank' saying several sums of money had been taken from account. Then the usual, press etc. When can these be stopped? Earlier this we had a call at 2.47 am!!
I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

This number has rang three times in an hour and half tonight. It cuts off as soon as you answer. I have looked it up on these sort of websites and it either comes up as a parcel force scam or BT text messaging. Either way it is at the height of annoyance as I have blocked it but it keeps getting through. STOP RINGING ME.
SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.
