I gave my details to a Fake BBC New story on Facebook about trading software and this company keeps calling me. I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. They are looking for me to "activate my account and upload £200 on a debit/credit card".

He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Attempt at an O2 scam, told me I was entitled to a free gift and discount on my tariff as a loyalty reward. I then got sent text messages from O2 with a security code that the caller wanted (not given). It was an attempt to access/take over my account.

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!

Scam call - woman rabbiting on about energy saving, need to send an energy consultant to my house to do a survey. 'Helen' good at talking but rubbish at listening! Asked her twice what is the name of her company but she kept talking fast. Asked her if she knows what TPS means (Telephone Preference Service supposed to stop unwanted calls), kept rabbiting on so asked again at which point she terminated the call.
