British Gas wanting to bring my gas boiler service forward by one day. No problems. British Gas engineer turned up as expected.

The same for us - scammers. Luckily we have BT Guardian so have just added these time wasters to my blocked list so they can't get through again!

Number appears on Phone Statement called at 12 noon. As I never use the landline during the day have no recall of making this call. Suspect it is not a true call.

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. Each call has had a similar style: Poor communication skills; talked at me, did not listen or answer my questions. Aggressive: I m naturally quite chilled and helpful but after each of these called I have been angry and proceed to block the number. As above they phone me same time every night and when I answer they either hang up or start on about help with your debts this company then ask for so much money off you I my answer to them is usually unrepeatable but what I have noticed the number has slightly changed but is still a Dumfries number

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

Caller claimed to be talk talk with a solution to my broadband problems. Thankfully I could not hear them very well so asked for a number to call them back on. Rang the real talk talk who said no, not one of our numbers and we have not called you today.

My husband has had this number come up on his phone saying his vodaphone bill not paid, when I checked it had been. Wanted payment details which he wouldn’t give. So yes a scam.

They have been calling a lot these past few days, but when I answer they always hang up. My guess is that they try to trick you into calling them back, otherwise I can t explain what s the use of harassing people like that?!

This number keeps ringing for someone who doesn t live here we have told them and was advised that our number would be removed from their files but yet again 2 calls today and it s only 10.00 am on a Saturday morning.
