Said his name was Ed and he was called about our recently installed Government scheme energy insulation. I said we hadn’t had any recently and he hung up.
I've been getting at least 2 calls a day from these numbers that are one digit less than UK mobile numbers. I have let them all ring off, then blocked them but just get slightly different ones every day. Very annoying.

Recorded message stating the Amazon Prime renewal date was due and to press 1 to speak to account manager. As membership renewal was October knew this was a scam and hung up.
Fraud, pretending to be HSBC banking, I don't have an account and that's the only reason I knew it was a scam, very believable. be careful

This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!
