Got this call this morning. Couldn't understand a word that he was saying other than something about online trading. Number blocked!

SCAM very well spoken, told me he was from the Fraud team at the Halifax then started asking about an sledged fraud then asked for email address & bank account, I said you tell me, which he did & my card no he quoted my old bank card that I’d had cancelled & I told I could remember my card number. SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!

Silent call Fraud

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Suspicious call from this number - they said that my amazon needs confirmation of the last order for the amount around £70. To confirm - press 1, to cancel - press 2. I think is fraud.

Recieved a call from this number sounded like a call centre, I am in Australia, knew my name would not tell me how she was and were she was from, wanted me to confirm my name I just not me when she asked if I was XXXX, then she hung up.

SCAM - automated voice asking me to press1 to cancel a large credit card charge

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

Called at midnight. Reverse call goes to answerphone. Avoid. Possible scam from Manchester area.

Amazon scam local number for lea Valley automated voice says you have been charged by Amazon for about £300 asked to press 1 which will put you through to the scammers. BEWARE
