He phoned me on Sunday in response to my ad and offered me the spare parts I wanted for my classic car. We agreed a price and then he said he wanted payment by bank transfer as he was about to go away on holiday. I was promised delivery by the end of the week but he later rang and said there was a delay and delivery would be next week and then he asked for my paypal details. Fraud - It's Christmas time and the scammers are out in force. This is a fake HMRC message bot. Whatever we think of the tax man, at least we can rest assured HMRC wouldn't call like that ... they'd send 5-15 letters first. As much as the bot message is amusing to listen to in its fake urgency and menace, there will unfortunately be people, who will get upset by this and fall for it ... DON'T!
