A missed call, I'm sure they have called before, just want to know who they are

When I answered the phone I could hear the sounds of a call centre in the background but no one spoke to me, even when I told them that I could hear them and had noted the number down. I hung up as they were obviously not going to talk to me.

They rang to confirm my address as I was due money but said a cheque was coming to my address , erm I wont hold my breath

Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. It really has put me off using them as I can imagine they will harass me if I do go for a consultation.

Line took a while to connect. Caller with an Indian-sounding accent. Had call from same number earlier today, but that didn t connect. I checked the number, and it came up as nuisance call, so I hung up immediately just now. Will now block number.

I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. He asked for a UKASH voucher for ?100, (this voucher is as he told me was to show that we are able to repay the loan and I would get it back with the money into my account) which I did and gave them the voucher number. As a consequence of reading the Sunday Telegraph on 2 August 2015 I saw an online car extended warranty advert. Applied to the URL and completed online form; received a quote for ?1000/yr which is excessive and I will not use. Now being called by 0118-971-9700 daily But have blocked that number on my phone.
