Phoned out blue, saying following up a previous enquiry I’d made once about investments. Said not a sales call but called themselves ?BT Marketing? I’m currently looki at investments. So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).

Bot call to check if person behind number is real, got call most likely due to being spam called recently from known scammers. Calls, when answered, will keep connection alive until you say something, then hangs up. Most likely records what you say to then give to other members of scam organizations that will most likely cold call to scam further.

Like other reviews I received text message at 4.28am (very strange), supposedly from Apple stating: "We've noticed a transaction that seems unusual , therefore we've had to place a hold on your wallet features. Spam. Trying to get you to agree to a survey to sell insulation. Cold caller telling you your loft insulation fibre is coming through your ceiling into your lungs. Asked what insulation they are recommending and he hung up.

Do not know anyone in Northern Ireland, so blocked number. It does not help if "CALLED ME.CO.UK" spells NORTHERN wrongly. Is "called me.co.uk" a scam also. One thing to check is the spelling!

Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. Part of a group of Chinese scammers currently operating a fraudulent website which was advertised by a 'recruitment agency'. Do not engage with any of them they are definitely not from the UK and will lure you into their scam.
