I was contacted from this number at 16:30 on 10.06.2022. It was a man of Asian origin judging by the accent (Pakistani, Indian, Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi) and said quote: “Hello, is this ***** *****? Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.

This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.

They rang and left no message, there is no reason why bank Indonesia would call me. I'm not affiliated with them and it definitely seems like a scam

SCAM - scam baiters who bought Sky number ranges and are cold calling victims trying to claim to be the ISP. Tosser kept calling me "bro". I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. Sky have been asked about this and aware of these scammers.

100% trustworthy because no-one has said otherwise yet????? Thats hardly a way to grade something. Maybe its 100% Scam but no-one has said otherwise. Other websites say its Indian call centres asking for details claim to be EE or o2 or Virgin so that doesnt sound very authentic does it - and if you havent asked for Indian call centres to call you its spam and a likely fraud

This number called something about housing maintenance for housing maintenance or housing association. Saying i was in one of these. Not correct. Rang off. When i phoned it back it came up as not in use,???? Be careful.

This number is claiming to be Currys PC World Mobile. I work at Currys myself and is internally being recognised as a spam number pretending to be Currys to sell fake mobile contracts for their details. Avoid.

Voice call reporting to be VISA and asked to press 1, put through to operator who when I asked who was representing said, "F*** you" then hung up.
