Call launched into a spiel about how I had been selected to win a fantastic prize. I hung up immediately. I do not give out my number to anyone who does not need so I suspect this was random dialling.

Scammers pretending to be HMRC

Claimed to be Fonehouse in Bradford. VERY strong S.E. Asian accent, offering very cheap phone contracts, cheaper than I found after extensive research a month or so ago. Perhaps a 'booler room' in India wanting bank details?

They claim l have had an accident. I said no but he was persistent so l cut the call and blocked the number.

Almost gave them almost £700 as they said I owed it in outstanding vat and I would be going to prison. Thank god my other half realised it was a scam

Keeps asking for money

Sounded like a computer as it took a few seconds to answer when I said hello. It said it was HRMC. I hung up.

An Asian guy offering me a refund on my holiday if I was advised to drink bottled water when the hotel washes the ingredients for dinner such as salad in tap water! Not sure what type of scam this is but they wanted all of my holiday bookings etc plus the receipt

We have had at least calls from this number , same bulls--t story about HMRC . Just put the phone down.

SCAM / SPAM called wanting to know if my company to renew our energy contact. although the number is Aylesbury based i believe this was spiked from india or pakistan but give the large kashmsi population in aylesbury who knows...but let's face it they were definitely on for a scam

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with road traffic accidents, pure telemarketing...

You have been in accident

Said they were from 3 chasing payment. Luckily for me I have screen shots of webchat with 3 saying the account is closed and I have no liability. Guy on phone refused to cancel account unless I paid a minimum of £5. Must be scam as I have in writing

AMAZON Phone message stating that I had a international charge on my Amazon account and to press one to cancel.I didn’t respond as it sounded like a scam.I have now blocked the number.
