This and another similar number called my land line and I called the one above back, as I was waiting for a call, but there was no reply Within five minutes a foreign man called back and stated I had phoned him a few minutes before. When told I was responding to a call from him, he insisted I had called him an hour ago (impossible as no one was home), and his attitude changed to verging on verbally aggressive. I hung up. SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.

Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. I Saw A Post Online Talking About A Guy Who Helped A Lady Get Proofs From Her Cheating Partners Phone, Without Any Physical Touch Which Means It Was Done Remotely, I Then Tried It Out And contact him on WIZARDBRIXTON (AT) GMAIL (DOT) COM, To My Surprise He Blew Me Off With The Very Type Of Results I Needed I Was Able To See My Spouse's WhatsApp Messages Snapchat Messages Facebooks Messages And See His Call Logs And Also Listen To His Incoming Calls As Well You Should Give Him A Try Also
8 AM this morning, automated call claiming to be "bank security" - went on to tell me my card had been used twice today - obvious scam as I use a building society wanted me to press a number to connect with their "helpline" - I hung up.

This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.
