Fraud.. RECORDED message saying that there have been suspicious charges on my card today 9.25 am I hung up immediately!

Chinese SCAM

Fraud Said they were from HSBC and wanted me to go through security. I said I'd call them back and at that point they gave me the genuine HSBC number (I said I'd look it up anyway). So I called the genuine number, 03457 404404, and wasted my time and HSBCs, as there was - surprise surprise - no suspicious activity on the account.

A scam. Sounds automated.

This number called claiming we had poor internet connection, very persistent insisting I go into my emails whilst he was on the phone. Our connection only checked the day before was fine. Be aware of this.

This number is fraudulent number

Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

Fake call centre, claiming to be o2 to aqquire your one time pass code to gain access to your account. Absolute scumbags, called them out and they was giggling about it. Fucking Indians. Nothing funny about scamming vulnerable people in a time of real economic struggle.

I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

SCAM called to discuss damp problems reported in my property, I don’t have damp issues and have never reported any problems. I own my own property so knew immediately that this was a scam, talked to them long enough to get the gist of what they were trying to do before hanging up.

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. They sent me a message saying they’re from Three and I needed to fill update my billing information in order to not get ‘cancelled’, which is a bit odd since I use a Pay-as-you-go. They sent me a link to some authentic-looking website but with a suspicious URL.

They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
