They called and asked if I had a credit card with Barclays and that they wanted to fill in some kind of insurance claim. I told them where to get off.

After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. He wanted to know who I thought it was. After I identified him as a criminal he called me something rude

This number has called 3 times today. Voice very similar to BT’s robotic voice saying ‘ You have a call waiting, press any key to continue’ I have not and will not!

You can easily stop these calls; Laithwaites, but on phoning back just an answer phone message which says your wine club tried to call you and to stop the calls, press 1 and leave the number and it will be removed from the list.

Reported on other sites, trying to sell and get you to pay for an expired service, which you probably didn t have. Asked for individual by name, and rudely hung up when asked for theirs. Avoid talking to them

This number belongs to a company called Allclaim Solutions, but they might call themselves ACS. They target the elderly and vulnerable and their main objective is to obtain bank details for anything from insurance for washing machines to rebates for Council Tax. It s a complete scam. i never answer calls I cant identify but I sometimes look them up on this site. this looked like a normal number so I nearly answered but thank goodness I did not. no one needs telemarketing calls.
