I did not hold the line long enough to figure out what they want me to do, ended with identifying the Windows computer by the presence of Windows key on the keyboard :-)

Just playing music when I picked up. Then automated voice said "thank you for calling. Goodbye" when they d rung me.
Keeps calling but if I don t answer I get a voicemail about 1 minute of breathing!! If I see this number now I just ignore it and get a voicemail with breathing and no talk...

This seems to be the latest scam whereby the caller tel no comes up as local to you and you answer assuming it s your dentist or child s school etc so 01525 is for Leighton Buzzard etc The give away is its always a scouser accent When you say hold on you are not a Leighton buzzard no they hang up They mentioned the accident I never had ... They re a bunch of scum nuggets, keeps calling me, Blocked and they still come back with a slightly different number. i was rung and told it was BT and that there had been some suspicious activity on our internet recently. I was asked to google Anydesk which I know is a method whereby a person can remotely access your laptop. No way. I put the phone down.

PPI scam - calls my mobile several times a day, everyday. They ask for me by name then go on about I am due a PPI refund. They change their number by 1 digit, but I have blocked all of them so far, so their calls are now auto-rejected. My dad is in a hospice now and only has a short time left, so every time my phone rings, I panic. I m sick of these harassing calls!
