Probable scam. Didn’t answer but when I called back I had a message saying the number was not in use. This is a red flag for a scammer!

Pretending to be a call from Royal Mail. This is a scam call, Royal Mail will never call you to ask for payment. Do not give any money to anyone calling from this number.

Jason from 'housesdisrepair.com' rang then was most alarmed when I said look it up on the internet. Then he slameed the phone down

Claim to be form Financial Services Authority and there is a frozen account in my name, a bitcoin account. Want to transfer funds back to me and close the account. I haven't invested in bitcoin so told them to trace where money came from and pay it back to that account. So obvious that it is a scam to get your bank details.

Possibly a scammer. Automated call claiming to be from Amazon stating account had been charged for £799’ish and that account was now on hold. . . .

Scam! Making out he was from Ryanair!!! Wanted me to sceeen record online bank! Wanted my bank card details for no reason I was about to give my NatWest card and he said do you have a Monzo card!!!! I mean is that because NatWest are hot on Fraud totally put the phone down at this point! Be very vigilant!

Recorded message call this morning saying that payments had been made from my account one money transfer (£1300) and one to Amazon (£200), press button options at which point I hung up and checked the number on this site.

Used to call me reporting withdraws from my bank account claiming to be from Visa. It must be a scam came through on my business phone which I do not use for any personal transactions.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Someone saying they where from a company called UK direct. Asked if they could ask me 5 quick questions. Then proceeded to ask me more and more personal questions before hanging up once I questioned them.

This man rang me pretended to be EE, he asked me to suck his **** and be his stepsister.

Lady claimed that unknown to myself I have a bitcoin account open in my name with 4.5 bitcoin in it. All I needed to do was prove my identity and she would kindly sort out how I could activate the account and claim my money. It had apparently been opened accidentally when I had clicked on an advertising link. Isn't that just too good to be true?

This caller was female told me she was from Microsoft. I kept repeating go awey go away, you are a scam. Still tried to talk me into listening, put the phone down. It was annoying to say the least, I think it was a scam.

SCAM, York number pretending to be bank security and asking you to press 1 to go to customer service, I got exactly the same message from a Norway number about an hour and a half later, message immertates bt text but comes up as a number. Do not pick up, Norway number was 004721956764

Attempt at an O2 scam, told me I was entitled to a free gift and discount on my tariff as a loyalty reward. I then got sent text messages from O2 with a security code that the caller wanted (not given). It was an attempt to access/take over my account.
