Automated voice messaging informing that £500 for gambling + another amount was taken from my account. I replaced the handset after being instructed to press 1, 2 or 3. Checked my account none the less. It was definitely a scammed call.

SCAM Call from Sky technician department! Strong Asian accent. There is a problem with my broadband router. Not with and never have been with sky. Wanted me to load an app on my phone so she could show me what the issue was with the router. Not happening I said. Got accused of arguing with her. Managed to waste 8 minutes of her time before hanging up and blocking.

One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. SCAM. Claims they ring from Catphone Warehouse but after googling phone number belongs to Radisons Dry Cleaning. Speaker barely can talk English and when I asked a question, he didn't understand it.
Had a few missed calls off this number over a few days, then one morning at 5am, my phone woke me up by calling this number by itself on speaker. My phone is fingerprint/pin locked, and my applock app registered two failed attempts to access my phone's settings. Everyone in the house was asleep and I've yet to find an explanation. Phone completely scanned for malware and came up clean. Very perturbing.

SCAM - A female recorded voice with an English accent said that it was a call from Amazon and my Amazon Prime subscription had just been renewed in the sum of £95. I was given options of pressing 1 or 2 for different courses of action. I did absolutely nothing and about 30 seconds later the call cleared.
