I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.

This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.

01268395512 - Definitely a spam call. They asked my name 3 times which i did not confirm, 3 times i asked who they were, they gave a garbled response and when i asked the nature of the call they hung up.

When I asked how do I know they are Revolut, they said I can check number at the back of the card. Wanted to confirm my last transaction - if I shared information they would be able to possibly attempt access recovery on my account. The caller number can be easily spoofed. SCAM This is a proper scam. They are pretending to be ee and they are trying to give you an update. They knew some bits about me when they called but I got suspicious when they started asking for bank details. They changed my account password and ordered an iPhone 14. I called ee straight after I spoke to them as I was suspicious. It turns out they even changed my email as I couldn’t access my account anymore!!!!!!!
