I think this is a scam, caller claiming to be from BT saying issue with security on internet asking for BT ID, have blocked this number

They have been calling a lot these past few days, but when I answer they always hang up. My guess is that they try to trick you into calling them back, otherwise I can t explain what s the use of harassing people like that?!

This company has been calling my elderly vunerable neighbour since last year. I have lost count of how many times I asked them to take her off the call list. Reported to TPS seemed to stop for a while and has now started up again. Turned away 2 salesmen in last couple of weeks. Since Sept they have called her 9 times. Number appears on Phone Statement called at 12 noon. As I never use the landline during the day have no recall of making this call. Suspect it is not a true call.
