Some form of PPI scam - you can claim ?1500! Scripted, but struggled with the script. Avoid.

Missed call on landline but from a Tesco mobile.

calling in relation to "an old PPI claim" - even had my first name!

Answered call without speak (to avoid triggering voice detection), the phone hung up on the other end.

Asked if I had been on all inclusive holiday in the last 2 years. Sounds like a claim for bad holidays

Obvious scam number as no message was left on the ansaphone. I do not answer any numbers I don't recognise - except my local ones and mobiles.

Is everyone an Ulster Bank customer? I think it s Ulster Bank (or someone claiming to work for them)asking you to take part in a survey. I answered once and said i didn t want to take part but they ve called 15 times plus since!!

Almost certainly a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER TRY TO RETURN A CALL to an unknown number and NEVER PRESS A...

15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.

this is calling our works number, when answered it sound slightly fuzzy then they hang up, so none the wiser whose calling......

Fifth call. This time at around 18:45. Wish they would cease and desist! Picked up call to receive a recorded message about saving money on gas and electric bills. I hung up.

A new one for me. No message left. Don't know anyone in the Blackpool area so blocked it.

Highlighted as Suspected Spam on my vodaphone system. This number has rang 3 times this week ffrom 03/04/21

Keeps phoning at different times of day and keeps getting blocked.

This number calls me everyday at varied times, and has done so for several months. Occasionally, I answer, always with the intention of asking them to stop calling me, but there is only silence at the other end of the line for a few seconds before they terminate the call. Very sinister and extremely irritating. What can I do to stop this?

On picking up the phone the line was silent for a couple of seconds, then there was the brief sound of call centre chatter and the line went dead. Almost certainly a scam call.
